After: A chocolate-inspired design that extends into the adjoining kitchen turns this white box into a sophisticated and very intimate space. The long wall becomes a "memory lane" of family pictures.

Before: The computer has to stay in the dining area, which is already small so student designer Jennifer Bolanos has a tough challenge to make that work.

After: This chocolate retreat happily surprised the homeowners. The rich colors and new furniture takes the dining/office area from dowdy to downright chic.
Bob Figoni and his fiancée, Debby Dunn, have a living and dining space that's so worn, it's all worn out. They're counting on design student Jennifer Bolanos to update this recycled mess. Bolanos plans to warm the room with a brown paint palette, build custom nesting tables, create a new console and two new ottomans. She also wants a new sofa, dining room table and track lighting.

Despite some unexpected interruptions in her plans, Bolanos successfully created a sophisticated, warm and cohesive feeling in the living/dining room plus the kitchen!
