Redesigners Leslie Teddy and Katie Bassett make a beautiful south Minneapolis living room much more livable just by rearranging the furniture.

  • They use the homeowners' leftover brown paint from the living room trim and some glaze to give the fireplace a much warmer look.
  • They place the area rug on an angle to facilitate a more interesting furniture arrangement.
  • Upstairs in the master suite they find the perfect window treatments to switch out with the white curtains from the living room.
  • The art grouping over the fireplace is placed elsewhere in the room, and a larger painting is set in its place creating a much more impactful focal point.
