Interior redesigners Jane Marie Bloomberg and Leslie Teddy bring order to a Victorian living room. Here's how they do it:

  • They move the sofa to the short wall and create a seating area around it.
  • The window treatments are moved up closer to the ceiling to not detract from the ornate molding.
  • Two matching side chairs and a small table are grouped together in one corner.
  • In another corner they opt for a small bureau that moves traffic around the sitting area instead of through it.
