Originally, the unfinished basement was used as nothing more than a storage area. Yet with a roughed-in fireplace and adequate plumbing, the space did have quite a bit of potential. What was once simply a large open space...

...is now an attractive recreational area with several different rooms. Extensive distressed pine cabinetry was installed as well as a small kitchen and bath. The fireplace was finished off with sandstone, a small dance studio with mirrored wall was tucked into one corner and it's all lit up with recessed lighting. It's quite a remodel.
