Wash ashore on Cape Cod where Dion and Nancy Dugan want to bring a special touch to their historic living room. Dion's grandfather bought the home over a century ago, and the couple has been working hard to update it. They're down to the last room and want to play up the traditional style of the house, so they're hoping to find a designer who will create an elegant space worthy of a sea captain.

Cape Cod, Mass., is packed with sandy beaches and houses built by sea captains in the 1800s, like the one owned by Dion and Nancy Dugan. The house is a traditional full Cape, complete with a "good morning" staircase leading to the two bedrooms. They've been renovating the home and now have one room left to finish – the living room. They want to play up the importance of the house, bringing it back to traditional and making it formal.
