They playfully challenge host David Bromstad with a flame decal and elements from their backyard as their design direction and color inspiration. Without a blink, the Color Splash team transforms this kitchen from an afterthought to the main attraction.

Although the homeowners have done extensive design work in the rest of their home, they ran out of steam in their kitchen. Things came to a screeching halt when they adopted their son. So here they are with this whitewashed space, no time and a design desire for a clean space with modern elements. A little color would be nice, too.
