The kitchen has gotten a makeover that will make cooking and preparing healthy meals a snap. The room is gutted and repainted a warm olive color. Clean, contemporary cabinets cozy up the space and complement the wall color. The medium-toned wood cabinets are punched up with some sleek, chrome hardware. For a little extra personality, glass insets are installed in a few of the cabinet doors. All new stainless-steel appliances make the kitchen truly up-to-date and functional. A new, center island provides more accessible storage, prep space and an additional eating area. To illuminate the butcher-block island, a wood and chrome chandelier is suspended from the ceiling.
