The upper portion of the walls are painted a soft shade of blue gray. The lower portion are resurfaced with white wainscoting. Diamond-shaped snowflakes are stenciled onto the walls to give them a look that is reminiscent of old-fashioned wallpaper. An old tablecloth is repurposed into café curtains and a valance. Two new shelves on either side of the window and one above it provide display space for multicultural knickknacks
