Vintage and Modern Element Designs Create an Eclectic Kitchen

With some of this and a little of that, a white space becomes an eclectic kitchen.

Design on a Dime : Episode DOD-2410 -- More Projects »

Before: Big and Bland
The Dilemma
The kitchen has a lot of character; it's just missing color and embellishment. The windows are unadorned, and the chandelier is from the wrong era. Even though Cho has a teacup collection, there's nowhere to display it. The table in the dining nook is too large for the space, and the seating is uncomfortable. The area is further complicated by the cabinet doors and drawers that open into the space. This kitchen needs an infusion of personality and style.
