New stainless steel appliances coordinate with the sleek, modern look. Bromstad removes the upper cabinets between the kitchen and the dining room to create a bar. Now that the rooms are visually connected, he decides to paint the dining room so the area feels unified. Design assistant Danielle Hirsch custom-blends the wall paint color to match the green in the glass tile. The color is sophisticated and energizing in the space.
