With its spicy mix of Spanish, Indian and modern styles, Albuquerque, N.Mex. is a unique place of its own. Ten years ago, Dimitra and Jesse Hawkins moved from Texas and have been updating their three-bedroom home ever since. They've been able to brighten up the rooms to take advantage of the spectacular views of the Sandias Mountains. However, the tiny, outdated kitchen has been left in the dark, and they're looking for a designer who can shed some light on the situation.

Albuquerque, N.Mex., looks like no place else with its spicy mix of Spanish, Indian and modern styles. Dimitra and Jesse Hawkins moved here ten years ago from Texas and have been updating their three bedroom, two bath house. They've brightened up the rooms to take advantage of the views but one space has left them in the dark – the kitchen. They have $60,000 to create a kitchen that'll entice their daughter the chef.
