The Cardinale kitchen in Los, Gatos, Calif., is located on a private half-acre vineyard. The country-style space is the toast of the town. Homeowners Elaine and Rex transformed it from a plain, desolate lot into an authentic Tuscan estate with one spicy outdoor Italian kitchen. The grill boasts 60 inches of cooking power, complete with four burners, an infrared burner, a rotisserie and a compact, but powerful built-in smoker for steamed dishes. There is also a refrigerator and sink. A 1,000-square-foot organic veggie garden is just down the stairs, which serves as the Cardinales very own homegrown grocery store right in the backyard. This place is like a little piece of Italy right in the United States. Magnifico!
