The dangling wire is finally given purpose as part of an enhanced lighting plan, which includes valance lighting and a drop ceiling panel above the island for extra illumination. Stainless steel handles give the new dark cabinets a chic look. To create more counter space and better flow throughout the kitchen, they replaced the traditional kitchen table with a custom-designed island.
