Art gallery owners Wayne and Isabel Kelly live on a beautiful street in a quaint neighborhood. However, their kitchen doesn't exactly paint a pretty picture. Daughters Lisa and Alison want to give their parents an updated kitchen by getting rid of the mismatched appliances, overflowing cupboards and exposed wires.

For the past several years, Wayne and Isabel have wanted to update their kitchen but they can't seem to get started. Daughters Lisa and Alison decide to take charge by calling in hosts Andrika Lawren and Emmanuel Belliveau to incorporate a fresh look that modernizes the space and reflects their parents' style. Although they want to get rid of the random pioneer accessories, there are a few pieces such as the growth chart that hold special memories for this dynamic family.
