Sideboard and Curtains
A new sideboard is fashioned from the top of an old hutch. To modernize it, crown molding is added around the edges before the entire piece is painted black. Then mirrors are inset into the crown molding edges. Mirrored panels are also epoxied to the front door panels. The sophisticated sideboard is then topped with the homeowner’s lamps which were updated with new crystals.

The bold curtains are made from banquet tablecloths and the tie backs are actually dog collars. A set of curtains are also hung in the entryway between the dining room and living room to help separate the two areas (see the Chandelier photo).

Buffet $113, lamp crystals $8 and curtains $60
