A classic color palette of sage green and white with a silver accent color sets the tone for Robinson's home. The odds and ends are removed, and the cedar chest is positioned under the window, creating a better flow into the room and providing a bench that doubles as storage. Hirsch paints a moire treatment on the walls. Over the sage green base paint, she applies a darker green shade in a mixture of 1:1:1 of paint, glaze and water. A wood grain tool creates soft ridges of texture, which give a subtle dimension to the room.
