Hosts Matt Fox and Shari Hiller have seven steps to create the perfect dining room. They start the process by meeting with homeowner Scott Alexander to find out what he wants in his perfect dining room. From the table and chairs to the window and walls, Fox and Hiller put together the perfect step-by-step guide to turn any dining room into the perfect one.The Seven Steps to Perfect Dining:
1. The backgrounds of the room need to be interesting but not distracting.
2. It's best if windows are non-glaring, offer privacy and have good looks.
3/4. Both the table and chairs must function well and be comfortable. When purchasing these pieces, you need at least two feet per individual setting, but take the width of the chair into account when determining the table measurement. The end of the table to the first setting should be 18 inches and be sure to allow three feet, four inches from the back of the chair to the wall/other furniture to allow enough room to move around the table comfortably.
5. Every good dining experience includes good lighting.
6. Accessories
7. The perfect centerpiece.
