Craftsman Table and Benches
The craftsman movement was all about using local lumber and materials, so Anderson uses a reclaimed door for the tabletop and recycled wood to build the benches. He bands the door with 2x4s, attaches with biscuit joiners and uses dowels to attach the legs. A coat of stain and polyurethane ensures that the finish will last for years to come. The benches provide additional seating and tuck underneath the table when not in use to allow the kids extra floor space to play.

Crafting your own table is easier than you might think. Anderson's step-by-step instructions prove it!
