Savannah, Georgia's location on the water was an important factor in the city's development , and the international influence of those who settled there is evident in its homes and interiors. Ann Osteen did extensive research to determine what colors were predominant in Savannah homes in its early history. She consults on colors and uses them in her own waterfront loft home / studio. Osteen talks about the process she went through while adapting what is the oldest standing cotton warehouses in the Western Hemisphere to her lifestyle. She also talks about how she has blended her many antique family heirlooms with more modern pieces to create a look that is contemporary with a traditional flair.
