Designer Deborah Burnett assembles a color board, an essential tool for creating color schemes when decorating, redecorating or remodeling a room. She creates the board using rubber cement and hot glue to affix wallpaper, fabric, flooring, and trim samples to a recycled mat board. Burnett suggests layering background wall coverings first, then adding more visually prominent fabrics and trim.
