Think orange and you might picture Halloween or the jerseys of the University of Tennessee football team. Or, better yet, nature’s magnificent oranges might come to mind: sunset’s bright orange light beams boldly displayed across the sky or a fire’s warmth emitting orange flames, dancing on a red pedestal, and emitting rays of yellow light. Beautiful and bold, certainly. But orange also can be fun, and that’s why designers are using it to turn dull spaces into inviting, energized rooms. If you’ve never been a fan of orange, that’s OK.
