After: Playroom/ Bedroom

Albert and Anthony’s new playroom can easily transform into a bedroom when the boys are ready to each have their own room. Vertical stripes are painted on the wall to add architectural interest then the boy-friendly blue is continued throughout the room. The family loves to do karaoke, so the mattress on the daybed can simply be moved and its wooden platform can be used as a singing stage. To add drama to every performance, curtains are suspended from ceiling to surround the daybed/stage and a multi-spotlight ceiling fixture can be tilted to shine down on the performers. Two swivel chairs in the middle of the room can face the stage or they can be turned to face the TV.
