Let your kids add a pop of color to their room with easy-to-make stained-glass art!Materials
coloring book with a picture your child wants for his art project
a large hardback book that is bigger than the picture
tape
plastic wrap
aluminum foil
colored markers
frame for the artwork
Steps
1. Tear a piece of aluminum off the roll that is a few inches bigger than the frame.
2. Ball up aluminum foil so it is completely crinkled.
3. Remove cardboard insert from inside the frame and cover it with the crinkled foil. Tape it in place on the backside.
4. Remove the picture from the coloring book.
5. Tape the picture to the front of the hardback book.
6. Wrap the plastic wrap tightly over the picture and the book. Tape it in place.
7. Use a black marker to trace the coloring book design onto the plastic.
8. Let the kids use colored markers to color inside the lines of the design.
9. When the ink is dry, carefully remove the plastic wrap from the book and put it over the crinkled foil on the cardboard insert. Tape it tightly in place.
10. Insert your stained glass design into the frame.
11. Hang it up and let your kids admire their artwork!
