A blank piece of floor cloth is used to create a smooth, study surface where they can race their toy cars. The roadways and greenery are painted onto the canvas floor cloth with craft paint. When the paint is dry, a coat of varnish is applied to protect the surface from skid marks and dinosaur tracks.
