Victorian Cottage Space

Decorating Cents : Episode DCT-2703 -- More Projects »

Before: Lost in the Camouflage
Homeowner Deb Schield is the sole lady in her house. She is completely outnumbered by husband Paul and their four boys. Even the dog is a male! She would love to have a place to escape all the masculine influence once in awhile. To that end, she wants to transform a spare bedroom (pictured, right) into her own space and a part-time guest bedroom for her mother. Right now the room is filled with miscellaneous junk, most of which is covered in a camouflage pattern. Schield wants the room to have a Victorian-cottage feel that includes some of her antique furniture and vintage bed.
