The Double Take team replicates the look with $300 polished cotton and a sheet set that matches the base color of the designer comforter perfectly. The top of a basic duvet cover is removed and replaced with the polished-cotton flat sheet. The leftover fabric from the removed duvet top is used to make the square pattern on the new top and three matching Euro shams. After inserting a light down comforter into the duvet cover, the corners are sewn together for a tailored look. Tip: Polished cotton is a great alternative to silk.
