The color palette in the designer room features a regal crimson and soft gold tone. Designer Doyle McCullar chose these colors to create a lively and elegant feel in the room. The contemporary patterns and clean-line furnishings give the space a fresh and youthful sense. The key to this design is the balance of contemporary elements with rich woods and traditional accents. The Double Take team–makeover designer Michele Addey, budget shopper Halili Knox and carpenter Jamie Schmitt–join creative forces to duplicate this colorful and sophisticated setting for less than $2,600.
