A busy pink bedroom is remixed into a romantic Victorian boudoir.

Parents Jessica and Jake Blumenfeld need to turn their cluttered bedroom into a cozy retreat for two. Host Karen McAloon and the Design Remix team find new uses for some old lamps and photographs found in the garage. They even find a beautiful arts-and-crafts-era armoire and paisley bed linens. Although not all of their finds are technically from the Victorian era, the bedroom is transformed into a romantic Victorian hideaway with deep colors and ornate fixtures.

The homeowners moved into the house a year ago and haven't changed anything in the bedroom, not even the dismal pink walls. The rest of the house was built during the Victorian era, but the bedroom was an addition and doesn't have any Victorian features. They want a romantic red bedroom, but not with a Moulin Rouge feel to it.
