Lamps

Sitting on top of both side tables in the designer room are Rococo-style carved wood urn-shaped lamps done in a gold-leaf burnished finish. For the Double Take room, two lamps in the same ornate Rococo style were found at a discount lighting store. To get the matching finish, a light coat of gold spray paint is applied and then a wood-tone translucent spray paint is used to give the lamps an aged, tarnished look. Finally, the lamps are topped off with bell-shaped shades in a soft cream color.
