Warm wood accents tone down the bright white in the master bedroom.
Nearly everything in designer Michael Moloney's home is white, from the walls to furnishings. He shares with Kitty Bartholomew how he used reflective surfaces, large-scale furnishings and architectural accessories to achieve this clean, comfortable look.

  • Large-scale furnishings and accessories fill up the small space. Aged zinc corbels from New York City take up space in two corners.
  • Large mirrors are propped against the wall to reflect the view outside.
  • Silver, chrome, stainless steel, crystal and glass also contribute their reflective qualities throughout the home.
  • The bedroom is a soothing retreat filled with painted and natural woods, metal architectural elements and greenery.
