Custom-Trimmed Bed Linens

Interior designer Lisa Shepard explains how to make custom-trimmed bed linens: Add a personal touch to store-bought bed linens by sewing on some simple fabric trim.

This Egyptian-inspired fabric transforms plain linens. The trim can be sewn on or applied using an iron-on fusible web adhesive. This is a great way to add a touch of cultural heritage to your home. There are thousands of fabrics available with African designs.
