Designer Constance Ramos helps the couple utilize the unique architecture of the space with a new color palette of yellow-green, deep brown, coral and yellow. The ceiling is covered with wallpaper that contains colors from the palette and its small delicate pattern reads as a block of texture to the eye. The bottom half of the walls get alternating yellow and green stripes, while she brings in the beloved floral as bedding and custom-designed artwork. Two matching nightstands flank the bed and feature decorative lamps in the new color palette.Constance's Color Tips:
Blue absorbs light, so use a green with more yellow in it to brighten a room.
When using painter's tape to paint stripes, make sure the tape is pressed firmly into the wall. Then, paint horizontally across the edge of the tape to create a crisp line.
