New homeowners Trish and Jerry Navarrete are proud of their first home. However, the guest room is a trouble spot. An odd floor plan, exposed radiator, random sconces and awkward fire escape door leave the couple perplexed. Student designer Jaime Joseph, however, sees these challenges as opportunities for creativity. She transforms the room with a custom bookshelf, tailored desk chair, attractive lighting and a neutral color palette.
