The tranquil panel of muted greens and rich, dark brown symbolizes nature making the space elegant and soothing. The freestanding hutch is stained a darker brown than its original glossy, reddish-brown color to tone it down and make it look less fussy. The vanity cabinet on the other side of the room is stained to match the hutch. The tub deck is now less crowded because the homeowners’ hamper is made permanently part of the vanity cabinet.
