This igloo of a bathroom is a space only a dog can love! The weirdly sunken tub, lack of ventilation and single sink make it inconvenient. The chipped blue tile, faux marble countertop and eye-popping cerulean toilet make it downright ugly. There's no question that this bath needs an update.

Scott and Sheila Porter's new master bathroom is giving them a chilly reception. Nearly everything in the room is blue, from the countertop to the padded blue toilet seat, which Sheila says "is just weird." And getting in and out of the sunken tub requires training in gymnastics! Designer Krista Watterworth and carpenter Marc Bartolomeo are ready to turn this blue loo into a warm, welcoming oasis. The new design features an air-jet bathtub, glass wall dividers and sleek wall-mounted vanities.
