Soothing and contemporary! This new-and-improved bathroom is shared by the whole family, so a color palette of light lavender and earthy beige makes sure the room is not too feminine or too masculine. The shallow yellow tub has been replaced with a deeper jet tub that is perfect for a relaxing soak. Safety is no longer an issue — a new combination light and exhaust fan over the tub keeps the air clear and well lit. Large, earth-tone ceramic tile covers the floor. In the shower, smaller ceramic tiles are accented with a horizontal mosaic stripe running through the center. The corner cabinets have been torn down, and a contemporary open-cubby storage was built in its place. For the family, the most popular feature is likely to be the combination toilet-tissue holder and MP3 player.
