Tile/Pebble Backsplash

Materials:

four-inch square glazed tiles
plywood
colored glass pebbles with flat backs
premixed tile adhesive and grout
putty knife

Steps:

1. Measure wall or area to be tiled and cut plywood to that size. Cover plywood with tiles and remove every other one to create a checkerboard pattern.

2. Use a thin layer of tile adhesive/grout mixture to attach tiles to plywood (use the removed tiles to help with placement).

3. Apply a coat of adhesive/grout mixture to a blank square. Press the glass pebbles in place as desired. Repeat for each remaining square.

4. Let dry for 24 hours. Clean tile and pebbles with damp cloth.
