Halloween Haunted House

Materials:

DCC 12" papier-mâché house
DecoArt Americana acrylic paint:
- lavender
- black
- white
- green
Emagination* Crafts punches & scissors:
- Cut Aways ghost, witch & jack-o-lantern
- super jumbo circle, water splat & hexagon
- jumbo Allegro
- large oak, white oak & maple leaves
- large water splat, circle & oval
- mega punch oval & square
- ribbon punch circle, quasar & rectangle
Bravissimo!* asst'd papers
Bravissimo!* yellow adhesive-backed vellum

Steps:

1. Cut a hole in the bottom of the base of the house for the electric plug to fit though (figure A).

2. File down the edges of the foam plank. Coat with Foam Finish.

3. Paint the foam base green (figure B).

4. Paint the house lavender.

5. Glue beaded fringe along the roof line (figure C).

6. Add punched shapes to roof (figure D).

7. Add windows with cut away punches (figure E).

8. Add shutters crooked to resemble a decrepit old house (figure F).

9. Add pumpkins, ghosts, gravestones, spider webs, etc.--all scary stuff (figures G & H).

10. Add leaves and trees, and any other accent pieces.

11. Add the light through the hole you cut in step 1.
