Steps:

1. Measure 2-1/2 inches on all sides of the card stock (a 8-1/2-inch square), score and fold all sides inwards (figure A). This is the bottom of the box.

2. Glue decorative paper to the box.

3. From each corner of the card stock, cut out a 2-1/2-inch square (figure B).

4. Stamp the 8-1/2-inch square of off-white text-weight paper. Stamp images in black ink and stipple lighter colors onto the paper (figure C). Add cutout images with mounting tape. Use a gold pen to color the edges of the paper. This paper will be the inside of the box.

5. Tape or glue the text paper to the inside of the box (figure D). Bring sides of the box together, folding the paper inward.

6. As the paper folds together, create a crease with your fingers (figure E).

7. Measure and score 1 inch on all sides of the 5-3/4" x 7-3/4" card stock. This is the lid. On the short (5-3/4-inch) sides, measure and score another inch beginning from the previous 1-inch measured mark (figure F).

8. Fold all score measurements inward to form your lid. Cut four 1-inch squares from the corners. The creases will show the lines to cut the squares. On the short (5-3/4-inch) sides of the lid, cut a 1-inch tab on each side (figure G).

9. This is the time to decorate your lid. You can glue on flowers, add photos, stamped images, or add fusible webbing on the lid with embossing powders, etc. Glue corrugated paper to the top and corrugated strips to the sides of the lid.

10. Stamp tags with black ink and use a pen to blow specks on them. Use the gold pen to edge the tags. Put tags together and thread a cord through them. Add beads to the cord and place tags on lid. Glue watch parts on the lid from an old watch.

11. Bring the two tabs inward on the box and tape. You will fold over the end folds and tape, creating the end of the lid (figure H). Do the same method to the opposite side of the lid. Put the box and lid together. Glue four black beads on the bottom corners of the box for feet.

12. If you like, do an additional tag for a name tag for the box (figure I).
