Stencil & Stamp Embossing
Steps:

Double Stencil Print Technique

1. Lay colored paper on the table. Lightly spray the stencil with adhesive spray and lay the stencil over the paper (figure A).

2. Mix equal amounts of gel blending medium and acrylic paint on the paper plate.

3. Use a small piece of sea sponge to sponge the paint over the entire stencil (figure B).

4. Quickly lay another piece of paper over the stencil and roll the foam brayer over the entire back of the paper (figure C).

5. Remove the top printed paper and remove the stencil from the first paper. You 'll have one stenciled page and one page that is stenciled in the reverse (figure D).

6. Clean the stencil with a damp paper towel.

Embossed Resist Technique

1. Lay colored paper on the table. Apply embossing ink to foam stamp and stamp on the paper (figure E).

2. Sprinkle the stamped image with clear embossing powder (figure F). Tap off excess powder and reserve for reuse.

3. Heat the image with an embossing heat tool until the powder melts. Repeat this process for additional images.

4. In a separate paper plate, mix an acrylic paint color with equal amounts of gel blending medium.

5. Use a sponge to apply the mixture to portions of the paper (figure G). Use a separate sponge for each different color you use.

6. Use a dry, clean paper towel to remove wet paint from the embossed images (figure H).

Stencil & Stamp Embossing

1. Lay the paper on the table and lay the stencil over it.

2. Rub the embossing inkpad over the stencil and lift the stencil from the paper.

3. Sprinkle clear embossing powder over the stenciled image. Tap off excess powder and reserve for later use.

4. Heat the image with an embossing heat tool until the powder melts.

5. Apply different colors of paint to a foam stamp and stamp onto the paper.

6. Sprinkle the image with clear embossing powder.

7. Mix equal amounts of acrylic paint with the gel blending medium. Use a sponge to wash various colors over embossed stenciled and stamped images.
