Steps:

1. Measure inside of frame and cut a piece of muslin 2 inches larger all around. Iron out any wrinkles.

2. Make a color copy of the artwork (figure A). Place color copy face down onto muslin. Use Bunny Burner to heat transfer design. Note: Transferred design will be lighter and more antique in appearance than original (figure B).

3. Pour small amounts of coordinating acrylic paints and glazing medium onto palette. Dip artist brush into glazing medium and into small amount of paint. Blend onto palette. Lightly brush color on muslin on any area you wish to bring out more design color (figure C). Let dry.

4. Use a foam brush to apply mounting glue to matte board or foam core. Adhere muslin, smoothing out wrinkles with your hands. Wrap muslin to back of board and glue (figure D). Let dry overnight.

5. Use foam brush to apply Large Crackles. Let dry; glue will be clear but slightly tacky.

6. Use foam brush to apply Top Coat. Cracks will appear when dry (figure E).

7. Use cotton cloth to apply oak stain and antique (figure F). Wipe off as much stain as desired.

8. Frame can be crackled and antiqued in areas as well. Rub on gold paint to accent (figure G). Mount picture in frame when complete.
