Materials: reproduction botanical prints (northernlightsdesigns.com) white craft glue and paint brush scissors metal ruler wood wallpaper roller lengths of decorative fabric ribbon - enough to create a frame around each print hot glue gun and glue sticks decorative hooks or tacks decorative buttons tack hammerSteps:
- Use pieces of clear tape to arrange and attach prints on chosen wall. A neutral paint color on your wall, such as a taupe, works best. You can arrange randomly or in a line. Experiment until prints are to your liking.
Attach each print to wall using white craft glue (figure A). Press out all air bubbles. Roll with a wallpaper roller to flatten. Let dry.
Attach "ribbon" frames around each print with hot glue gun. You can add a second outer frame of another ribbon for a more ornate (figure B).
If desired, decorate corners of prints with metal buttons (figure C).
If desired, decorate by creating a ribbon hanger using tacks instead of buttons and two identical lengths of ribbon. Pin a length of ribbon to the top corner so the print (figure D). Position a third tack centered above the print and tie the lengths of ribbon to the top tack to create a bow (figure E). Hot glue ribbon to upper edges of ribbon framed print. Bring ribbon up, make a bow and slip over hook for prints that look as if they are hanging from ribbon bow hanger.
