Materials:
Stampendous Mini Matts die-cut fans (or cardboard)
various pigment inks
Adirondack embossing powders
Ultra Thick clear, gold, bronze, platinum, interference green & blue embossing powders
1/16" hole punch
make-up sponges
heat tool
beaded necklaces, findings, beads & shrink plastic bits
Steps:
1. Punch holes for jump rings and other findings on cardboard shapes (figure A).
2. Using a makeup sponge, dab pigment ink onto cardboard cutouts, being careful to cover edges.
3. Cover ink with clear Ultra Thick embossing powder. Heat with heat tool until melted. Add another coat of clear powder while still hot.
4. While embossing powder is still hot, sprinkle small amounts of Adirondack embossing powders using your fingers (like adding a pinch of salt).
5. Keep adding various colors until you get the look you like (figure B) .
6. Add a tiny pinch of gold, bronze or platinum metallic powder, or use interference color for a pearl effect.
7. Finally, while powders are still hot, drop on tiny pieces of shrink plastic or beads. Allow to cool (figure C).
8. Add findings, jump rings and beads. Attach beaded necklace.
