Materials:

templates of your choice
book - Great Scrapbooks
three pieces of paper - different colors
craft knife
removable tape
pencil
adhesive

Steps:

1. Using a pencil, lightly draw a design by freehand or with a template onto the top layer of paper. The design needs to be in fragments like a stenciled design and should not be a whole solid shape.

2. Using a craft knife, cut out the design (figure A).

3. Adhere the top layer of paper onto the second layer of colored paper with removable tape. The first layer now becomes a template.

5. Lightly draw partial pieces of the design onto the second layer of paper (figure B).

6. Remove the top layer of paper and cut out the design on second sheet of paper.

7. Layer all three sheets of paper and adhere together (figure C).

8. Finish with photos, writing and other embellishments (figure D). If desired, use pop-up dots to add dimension between layers.
