The Carol Duvall Show camera crew focus on the work of fiber artist Hattie Sanderson. Sanderson uses a technique called "burn out" to create incredible fabric pieces. She applies a special solution on the back of velvet incorporating various design elements. Once the solution is dry, Sanderson uses an iron to trigger the burn out process. The next step is to flake away the velvet fibers to unveil the finished piece.
