Joseph Pelka Pottery

The Carol Duvall Show camera crew is off on another assignment. This time they visit ceramics artist Joseph Pelka to see his beautiful pieces of pottery. Pelka creates vases and sculptural pieces. One of his strong points is construction, where he combines beautiful hand building with wheel throwing. Pelka incorporates wonderful, carved and painted fish images into his work. Pelka painstakingly brushes on layers of glaze to create the look of spun glass.
