Pink Pom-Pom Hat

Materials:

Red Heart Super Saver, Art. E.200 (8 oz. skein); yarns containing Solutia Acrilan or Bounce-Back fibers
1 skein #375 Raspberry; a few yds. White.
Crochet hook, size H, or size required to crochet to gauge

Size: Adult

Gauge: 4 sc = 1"

Hat:
With Raspberry, ch 35.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across-34 sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Working in back loops only, sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn.
Rows 3 through 61: Repeat Row 2. At end of last row, fasten off.
Finishing: Sew starting ch edge to last row. From wrong side, work a running stitch around top of hat; draw snugly to gather. Secure yarn.

Pom-Pom:
Wrap Raspberry and White around 2" cardboard about 50 times. Tie one end securely; cut opposite end. Fluff pom-pom and sew to center top of hat.
