This "never ending card" is not a new idea, but that doesn't mean it's not a good one. Just recently a card manufacturer was using this construction on an advertising mailer they sent out, and soon after that, a favorite fast food chain presented their version. Here is ours.

Materials:

four 3" x 6" pieces light card stock
stick glue
rubber stamps, photos, etc. for decoration
bone folder

Steps:

1. Mark the center of all four pieces of cardstock on all four sides (figure A).

2. Fold the short ends to the center on each piece (figure B). Crease well and unfold.

3. Place two pieces side by side vertically on work surface (figure C).

4. Place the other two pieces horizontally on top of the first two pieces (figure D). Make certain that all of the outside edges match as closely as possible.

5. Carefully glue the common corners on all four corners (figure E). Let dry thoroughly. Note: The corners include the space up to the creases made in step 2.

6. Open card and re-crease on all of the folds to make the card flip through each page (figure F).

7. Construction of card is now complete. You may wish to round the corners (figure G) or cut with decorative scissors. Decorate as desired, but be certain to plan the placement of the stamping or attaching of photos before actually putting them in place, because the opening of the card reveals another area.
