Steps:

1. Trace applique pieces onto tracing paper. Cut out and tape to WoolFelt. Cut pattern piece on traced lines with sharp scissors (figure A).

2. Stitch around outer edge of English rose flower with blanket stitch using cranberry Perle cotton.

3. Attach to edge of purse flap with the cranberry flower center and add button to center (figure B).

4. Tuck three green leaves under flower edge, temporarily holding with glue stick.

5. Back stitch down the center of each leaf forming a vein with dark green Perle cotton (figure C). The leaf edges are left unstitched.

6. Add tendrils with back stitch in dark green Perle cotton (figure D).

7. Use glue stick to attach black bee’s body and then stitch two rows of yellow satin stitch across the body, creating stripes (figure E).

8. Attach the black bead for head and add back-stitched antennae coming from under the bead.

9. Place white wings on body and attach with a black straight stitch across the wings' center and then add a lazy daisy stitch decoration on each wing.

10. Add motion lines for the bee with running stitch in black Perle cotton (figure F).

11. Fold purse bottom up under flap and mark bottom fold with a pin on each side. Before stitching up the sides, add small pocket on back of purse to hold business cards attaching with blanket stitch in dark green Perle cotton (figure G).
12. Again fold up sides of purse and pin to hold while stitching.

13. Beginning at top left side, blanket stitch edge together with dark green Perle cotton. Repeat on right side beginning at purse bottom and then continue along edge of top flap to complete the blanket stitch edge.

14. Add large snap to close purse.

15. Add cording hanger at top edges of purse under the flap.
