Pocket Tag Mini Folio

Materials:

two 8-1/2" x 11" pieces card stock
double-sided tape
Large Pocket Tag N-1013 stamp
Sunshine F-818 and Starburst C-819 small stamps
stamp pads
24" pieces of 1/2" ribbon
scissors or craft knife
hole punch
scoring tool

Steps:

1. Stamp, score and cut out four large pocket tags. Punch holes at top.

2. Add an extra fold-under tab on the right side directly above the horizontal fold line (figure A). More tags may be added for a larger finished piece.

3. Embellish for the occasion with your choice of rubber stamps. Each tag will be stamped on the top half of the tag shape and the opposite side of the pocket (figure B). Plus you may wish to stamp and color the back sides of all the tags.

4. Crease all folds well. Fold under and glue in place the right added tab of the first tag to the inside left edge of the second tag.

5. Fold under the pocket tabs and glue in place, forming a pocket (figure C). Attach the right side added tab to the front edge of the third tag. Fold under the left tab of the second tag and glue in place. Repeat these steps until all tags are added to the folio.

6. Trim away the added tab on the right side of the last tag.

7. Thread a length of ribbon through the upper holes. Fold up and tie like a gift. Folding the pockets to the inside will keep their contents from falling out (figure D).

2 tiny brass brads or small eyelets
6" gimp cording
1-1/2" x 2" sticky notepad
Leopard Texture F-897 stamp
stamp pad

2. Mark for the reinforcement dots position. Dots should just meet at the middle.

3. Place reinforcement dots on card stock and trim out.

4. Punch two small holes at the center of the dots. You may also stamp and cut the reinforcing dot section from the large pocket tag stamp (figure F).

5. Add a small piece of string through the lower hole and secure on the back. Attach a reinforcing dot through this hole with a brass brad (figure G). Add the other circle to the lower hole.

6. Twist thread around the upper dot to secure.
